Been busy playing with the new PS3 I got so haven't been playing any poker. Time to get back in the swing of things with a 45-man tourney...
Drop $120 early on a pot where I hit 7s on the flop with K/7 but was pushed off my bet by a good raise. Raised off of 9/9 by an all-in - and it turns out I'd have won the hand. Down to $1310 and already frustrated. Stopped the bleeding momentarily by pushing all-in for $1250 with 10/8 on a flop of 10/7/2. No callers, won a massive pot of $90. Card-dead and down to $1250, 18th of 24. Blinded down to $1050, I'm getting nothing even resembling a hand. Take down a $200 pot to get all the way back to $1100. Pretty much all-in or nothing at this point as blinds are $50/100. Now blinded down to $830. My run of cards has been ridiculous - I've had A/8, K/7, and K/3 - my only hands with anything above a Q. And here comes A/8 again, all-in for $830. One caller, he's got 5/5. An 8 on the turn and I double up to $1885. All-in over top of a raiser for $1885 with 7/7, one caller. Three-way pot and I take the biggest piece, moving to $2600, 11th of 15. All-in for $2400 with A/J, called by Q/10. In great position to double-up after the turn but the river puts a full house on the board and we split. Crap. Blinded down to $2100, 8th of 12. Almost went all-in over top of a raise with K/9 suited but decided to fight another day. Blinds are $100/200, can't afford to wait long. All-in for $2000 with A/Q, called by K/J. No help for either of us, I double to $4300, 8th of 12. Took down a $4200 pot with 10/10 when I called a $1000 bet on the river, correctly suspecting the other guy had missed a flush draw. Up to $6600, 5th of 11. We've lost a guy and are down to 10. One more gone and I've made the final table! Blinded down to $5400, 5th of 9. Raise to $1200 with A/K in late position, short stack in the BB. Uncalled, move back to $6200. 4-way pot sees a short stack turn a straight but still bust 2 others. We're down to 7 and into the money, me still 5th! A/A doubles through A/10 and moves me up to 4th in the process. K/10, I limp for $400, 2 others. Flop is 7/9/10, I bet $1600 and end up pushing all-in, with one caller. He turns over 9/7. River is a K though and I double up to $13000! Just served there! Dropped a nice chunk with A/K suited when I was re-raised by a guy who put himself nearly all-in after a board of 4/4/5/8 with 3 diamonds. Too much danger, so I folded, down to $8300. Another guy gone, we're down to 5, me in 4th. Blinded down to $6000, I folded 7/7 to a raise - and naturally a 7 hits the flop. I continue to get pounded by the blinds and am down to $4600. I fold 8/9 to an all-in - and 8/9 would have 2-paired and won the hand. Take down a $5000 pot with J/8 in the BB when I river a 6 and get back to $7200. Fold A/2 - and 2/2 hits the flop. Argh. All-in for $4800 with A/10 suited, called by A/8. 10/6/8 on the flop and I double up to $11800. K/4 busted by 10/9, down to 4 players. A couple small pots with A/6 and Q/J move me to $13000. Uncalled raise and a walk move me to $14000. Bad call with 2nd pair of an all-in and I'm down to $5300. Not a good play there. All-in for $5300 with K/J, called by A/10. K on the flop and I double to $11200. Blinded to $6500, then all-in with Q/Q, uncalled, move to $8400. All-in for $5700 with K/J, I'm called by A/K. Not enough help and I'm busted in 4th. I'll take it!

Tournament #115
That last tournament sucked so playing another...
Pick up 9/9 in early position, raise to $40, 2 callers. Flop is 7/10/2, I raise from $40 to $120 but get re-raised all-in. Pretty sure the guy has a flush draw, not willing to risk everything on 9/9, so I lay it down. Sitting on $1300 now. Limp with 8/4 in the SB and hit a pair on the flop. 3 diamonds though and I bet every step, finally forcing a fold when no more diamonds come. Up to $1500. Next hand I've got A/9 and raise to $90, one caller. 9 on the flop and other guy bets $270, I raise him all-in and he calls. Turns over 9/2. WTF. He gets no help, I bust him and move to $2700. A/9 again on next hand, raised off of it. A/10 very next hand, drop a couple hundred as my river bluff goes nowhere. Down to $2200. A/9 wins me $400 with an A on the flop, up to $2350. Already down $110 thanks to blinds and a missed raise with A/J. Another $200 gone just trying to get to a flop. Lots of crazy betting around me, I need to back down and just wait for a big hand. As soon as I typed that, I got A/Q and the guy in front of me pushed all-in for $1200, just enough to cover me. I called. He's got A/K. K/10/8 on the flop and I'm way behind. Blank on the turn but a J on the river and I double up to $2450! We lost a ton of people bang-bang-bang and we're down to 26, me in 11th. 4 more gone, we're down to 22, me in 13th, still at $2450. Raise to $100 with A/8 with 2 callers and pick up $725 when I flop a pair of 8s. Up to $2800. Several more gone, we're down to 16, me in 8th with $2700. In the BB with A/Q, I'm raised all-in. Doesn't feel right so I lay it down. Dude had me covered - nearly $3700 - gotta figure he had A/K or K/K or something. Down to $1700 as my pair of Qs turns into the other guy having a flush. Misplayed that, should have raised all-in on the flop instead of just doubling his bet. Blinded down to $1350, all-in is my only play now. All-in for that $1350 with A/K, I get called by A/J. OK, back in the mood after watching some WSOP on ESPN so here we go with another 45-man...
Card-dead early so I'm doing lots of folding. We're playing at an incredibly slow pace as several players are taking the max time to make EVERY SINGLE decision. Ridiculous. Finally get something worth playing, with K/K in the BB. Raise to $120 (4xBB) and get 2 callers. Flop comes with 3 spades (I have K spades) so I throw $180 in and get a caller. Nothing on the turn and river, me betting $180 each step and called each time. He's got nothing though and I take down a $1500 pot to move to $2300, 15th of 27. Back to card dead as I've gotten 9/2, 9/3, 9/3, 9/5, and some other 9/x hand. Pick up J/J on the button with everybody folding to me, raise to $500, enough to put BB all-in. No call, win $250, up to $2000. Hey, looky there - 9/2 AGAIN. All in for $1725 with A/J and the BB re-raises all-in. He turns over A/Q. 7/4/3/6 on the board and I look to be dead. But a J on the river and I double up to $3600! Back to normal with the next hand, though, as I pick up 9/4. I seriously must have had 9/x at least a dozen times already. Next hand is 9/8. Sigh... Pick up A/9 - a 9 worth playing! - and limp for $150. Flop is J/10/8 and I call $300. Turn is a 9, both of us check. River is an ace, bet is $300, I raise to $600 and get called. My 2-pair is good, $2200 pot moves me to $4600, 6th of 18. A bunch of folds for me, we lose 5 players, and we're down to 13, me at $3800. Missed bluff, down to $3200. $1600 mistake as I misread the board and bet at something I didn't have. Stupid, haven't done something like that in a long, long time. Limp for $200 from the SB with K/J, 2 others. Flop is K/Q/x, so I push all-in for my last $1000, one caller. He's got A/10. No further help for him and I more than double to $2800, 6th of 12. Slow start to this one, have seen only 1 of 10 flops. Am down to $1430 but still in fine shape. Blinded down to $1340. Raise to $120 with a caller in front of me, I raise to $600 with A/A. One guy re-re-raises me and I push all-in. He calls and shows 10/10. No help for him and I more than double to $2900, 10th of 26. Blinded down to $2450. Limp with A/6 suited and pick up a flush draw on the flop. Check it all the way to the river and the other guy had nothing as well. Up to $3000. Blinded down to $2800, 9th of 14. Pick up a nice pot with K/Q when I pair my K. Up to $3400. Blinded down to $3000. Limped for $200 with K/Q then pushed all-in when a K hit the flop, uncalled. Up to $3600.
